Compensation: $38,000.00 to $43,000.00 per year

Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a company in to identify a Payroll Specialist/ HR Administrator. The Payroll Specialist/ HR Administrator should have 3 + years payroll experience in ADP. This position will be responsible for processing payroll for 200 + multi-state employees on a bi-weekly basis. The payroll specialist will be responsible for the following: Manage multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws. Maintain security for Payroll/HRIS system (user setup, workflow, etc.). Review, prepare and input payroll data using ADP payroll system. Produce accurate and timely payrolls for multi-locations (states) based on state and federal regulations and company polices. Update payroll records for employee information for taxes, benefits, job changes and salaries changes. Process tax liabilities to Third party provider for tax reporting and payment, which includes balancing of taxes on a quarterly and year-end basis. Process employee withholdings for 401k provider and flexible spending accounts. Maintain accurate payroll journal entries on a monthly basis. Will be responsible for entering new hires, 401K administration and handling basic benefit questions. Will also be responsible for DOT compliance.
