Job Description

David’s Bridal, the largest and most successful bridal retailer in the country, has grown to over 325 stores nationwide, and more stores continue to open all the time! The Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager in operating a David’s Bridal retail store by focusing primarily on floor management to ensure an exceptional customer service experience for each bride and by consistently reviewing and training associates on Customer Relationship Management to drive the business. The Assistant Manager role allows the Store Manager to focus all efforts on the overall management of the store. In addition, the Assistant Manager performs any Division of Responsibilities assigned by the Store Manager and may monitor sales performance over a specific division, a specific function, or both. The Assistant Manager is a key holder and will be responsible for opening or closing the store and the accompanying duties assigned to that task. Job Requirements

Experience Required: 2+ years prior retail in supervisory role

• Drive floor management to ensure an exceptional shopping experience
• Provide initial contact for all CS issues and work to resolve
• Drive achievement of store customer service satisfaction goals and standards
• Ensure Customer Relationship Management is executed to build appointments
• Monitor store payroll and provide input
• Manage day to day operations when the store manager is not present
• Support store manager in recruiting efforts
• Training
• Provide input on associate performance
• Direct and execute store visual standards
• Write and conduct performance reviews
• Perform effective coaching and counseling to all associates
• Flexibility to work retail schedules such as weekends, evenings, and Holidays
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs., climb, bend, twist, stand, and to move throughout the store
