Job Description


The Receivables Director is responsible to oversee staff in a regional office managing call center operations.  Director will handle day to day operations of the department and will develop and maintain SLA’s, KPI’s and Revenue goals, while driving increased performance and providing excellent customer service to MedAssist clients.
Required Responsibilities:
  • Participate or lead client management conference calls and meetings
  • Oversee and direct the daily activities of the Department
  • Coordinate workforce management
  • Develop and implement concepts and strategies that reduce costs and/or increase revenue
  • Learn and become proficient with company IT systems
  • Exceed assigned Revenue targets
  • Manages fast paced and productive call center
  • Manages inventories and reports daily/weekly to senior management
  • Prepares and conducts staff training
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Responsible to maintain and enhance workflows
  • Assists with recruiting, interviewing and hiring
  • Oversee insurance billing and follow-up process and procedures
  •  Assist with other projects as assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience 
  • Call center management experience preferred
  • Experience with dialer systems and terminology
  • Working knowledge of computers, IT, and EDI processes
  • Demonstrate initiative and creativity in fulfilling job responsibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy work environment
  •  Must demonstrate strong leadership abilities
