Location: Irving, 

Job Summary:

This opportunity will report to the National Sales Director. The position will be responsible for leading the initial targeting and recruitment of healthcare organizations (HCO) by selling the value of Aptitude participation.  

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility is to recruit and gain commitment of HCO’s to participate in Aptitude.  

Detailed tasks include; 

  • Manage a target list of HCO’s in assigned regions and maintain a sales pipeline to track progress on sales opportunities.
  • Become fluent in aptitude.com functionality
  • Make initial customer contact and schedule introductory meetings with appropriate HCO contacts
  • Plan introductory meeting and identify value opportunities and sell the benefits of contracting via Aptitude. 
  • Effectively present and sell participation benefits of aptitude through concept overview and product demonstration
  • Responsible for building relationships to introduce HCO customers to the Aptitude’s product offering while gaining their commitment to participate in the Aptitude forum.
  • Effectively communicating with all stakeholders
  • Regularly work with customer staff to develop accountability for defined goals, revenue growth and contract penetration. 
  • Assist in completing legal participation documents
  • Work with account on an ongoing basis to gain commitment for Aptitude agreements 
  • Effectively communicate, acting as the voice of the customer, with all stakeholders to develop and maintain relationships with the Aptitude team to inform ongoing product development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, either in business or a health care related field. 
  • Clinical and/or business experience in the health care strongly preferred with firsthand knowledge of how hospitals operate, are organized and make decision points in the organization.
  • Five to seven years of progressive experience with strong sales, leadership and / or account management skills in the health care products or technology industry or progressive managerial experience in a health care organization
  • Customer empathy
  •  Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software products (Word, Power Point, and Excel) and saleforce.com
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills 
  • Flexible, action-oriented team player
  • Health care experience preferred.  Experience working with executive levels at acute care providers and ability to influence decisions at both the C-suite and operational levels.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software products (Word, Power Point, and Excel)
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills 
  • Up to 50% travel required
