Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: A.      EDUCATION:1.       Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.2.       Acumen for developing marketing, sales and service action plans within budget and with timely execution3.       Ability to work at a fast pace, prioritize multiple activities and respond in a timely manner to numerous request4.       Possesses creative thinking and influencer skills to navigate complicated situations with a strong ability to problem solve5.       Willingness to accommodate physicians’ schedules, which may occasionally fall outside of standard hours. B.      LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:1.       None C.      REQUIRED SKILLS:  1.       At least three years healthcare marketing experience required.2.       Skills and experience in marketing strategy, marketing communications and effective sales and customer service techniques3.       Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including economic and political influences and dynamics4.       Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.  5.       Ability to organize, write, and edit materials for use in publications.6.       Able to organize, write and coordinate the implementation of strategic communications plans and programs.  7.       Ability to plan and supervise the production of marketing communications materials, including advertisements and printed materials.   D.      WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:1.       Must drive frequently to other areas of the city for meetings, special events, etc.2.       Works in a clean, well-lighted office.  3.       Hours may be long at times.  4.       May be called upon to participate in activities or events during evenings and weekends.5.       No abnormal hazards or risks involved.6.       Must also successfully complete the pre-employment/post job offer health screening examination, and the annual screening each year thereafter as an employee. E.       OTHER:   1.       Ability to work on several projects at once.2.       Capable of presenting facts accurately in written and oral communication is essential.  3.       Clean, neat and professional appearance.  4.       Possesses tact and creativity.  5.       Ability to work well with all types of people, treating individuals with respect and courtesy.  6.       Performs other duties as assigned.
