Reputable investment services company in Santa Ana is seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, compensation centric, ERP systems Oracle, SuccessFactors, SAP, PeopleSoft. Position will pay around $125K annually. Primary responsibilities/essential functions: Applies critical thinking and root cause analysis techniques to solve complex business problems. Evaluates complex business processes and future business needs to identify opportunities for improvement through the use of technology, including re-engineering business processes. Translates complex business needs into functional and non-functional requirements including logical data models, reports and UI, and needed prototypes. Works with development, engineering, and quality teams to drive solutions by communicating requirements and participating in complex systems/software design and architecture, prototyping and testing. Manages delivery of projects when called upon, including monitoring, controlling and managing overall project execution, including budget, scope, structure, schedules, risks, processes and resources. Ability to understand the organizations business and how the business and technology architecture support that business. Maintain currency with industry trends and product roadmaps to be able to recommend solutions that best meet business needs. Ability to conduct vendor evaluations and manage vendor engagements. Responsible for stakeholder relationship management including identifying relevant stakeholders and establishing/fostering effective working relationships. Hiring Criteria Compensation Professional with huge experience in human resources compensation Thorough Knowledge of compensation principles, practices and business processes Developed, implemented and administered corporate broad-based compensation programs Consulted with business managers and HR Consultants on compensation issues Experience with market studies and reviews, job evaluations Experienced supporting compensation plans that include performance, sales and marketing drivers In-depth knowledge of legal and compliance issues, and alternative approaches to compensation Proficient in HRIS (Peoplesoft, Oracle, SAP, SuccessFactors) Experience integrating off-the-shelf software and custom enhancements Outstanding ability to maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality Ability to work in a fast paced and team environment with a strong sense of urgency Excellent time management, analytical and problem solving skills Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Work with business partners to improve and evolve processes and technology Can assess current state and provide short term and long term recommendations Demonstrated ability to conduct business impact and cost/benefit analysis evaluations and recommend appropriate course of action for assigned projects Experience in system design, data modeling and application architecture Thorough knowledge of database concepts, database design, data structures and system architectures (experience with data modeling and integration projects preferred). Ability to create a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external clients Ability to work independently and complete assigned project responsibilities under limited supervision. Good judgment in identifying issues and recommending solutions to others Experience in leading technical and functional teams as lead analyst Ability to direct the activities of other associates and contractors within a project team in a matrix environment Advanced Oracle HR, Advanced SuccessFactors, Advanced SAP HR, Advanced PeopleSoft Developer.
