Job Description

The Senior Programmer/Analyst is expected to be a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and project champion for all software systems. This person must ensure tasks are completed on a mutually agreeable schedule, ensuring quality and adherence to project management, architectural, and other standards established by the organization. In addition to completing tasks themselves, the Senior Programmer/Analyst assists in assigning tasks to other IT programming staff and provides input to the Manager, Applications Development and Support to facilitate the development and evaluation of IT staff.
a 8 years minimum experience developing applications with MS .NET, C#, .NET framework 4.5 (4.0 is acceptable), ASP.NET, Model-view-controller (MVC) Web Development, jQuery, inversion of control (IoC)
a Must have experience with SiteCore CMS and/or other content management systems
a Possess knowledge and experience with Agile development methodologies
a Possess a firm understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
a Must be able to deliver high quality technical solutions in a timely manner
a Ability to abstract general principles from specifics
a A strong desire to establish standards of best practice
a Responsible for coordinating architecture, design and development of assigned projects/tasks
a Must be capable of designing system to meet the client department needs while ensuring compatibility with other enterprise systems
a Create technical design and functional specifications documentation
a Must be able to integrate software components
a Must be able to design and implement complex abstract classes
a Must be able to code, test, and debug complex applications
a Experience writing unit tests
a Facilitate design and code reviews for team
a Strong PL/SQL database manipulation experience
a Expertise with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) - (SOAP/REST)
a Experience accessing databases via Entity Framework, ODP.NET, LINQ, NHibernate, etca
a Must be a team-leader, goal-focused, self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision and managing mutiple tasks concurrently
a Adhere to and champion company project management methodologies, procedures and policies
a Ability to work directly with non-technical users to identify and capture business requirements
a Aide in the future direction of technology
a Provide leadership with the introduction of new processes and methodologies adopted by the I.T. department
a Mentor onshore and offshore development staff
a Experience with MS BizTalk as well as itas Business Rules Engine (BRE) and Business Application Montitoring (BAM) functionality
a Knowledge of design patterns, UML
a Experience in the exam/testing industry
