Job Description

This high-profile position will apply continuous improvement initiatives to manage the physical infrastructure of the plant and its equipment. This includes the design, installation, operation, maintenance, modification, construction, safety and protection of the physical facilities and equipment used to manufacture technologically-sophisticated products.Specifically, this position will:
  • Lead by example that Safety is a way of life
  • Lead/Manage the Maintenance and Facilities Engineering Departments
  • Minimize unplanned equipment downtime and maximize equipment reliability by employing TPM and other reliability excellence initiatives.
  • Ensure Facilities Engineering metrics are well-known, and track progress toward achieving department objectives
  • Establish Project goals including capital, and lead the group effort toward successfully completing those Projects
  • Manage the Maintenance and Repair budget
  • Contribute to cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives for safety, on-time delivery, production efficiency, and scrap reduction
  • Develop the capabilities of those in the department through teaching, coaching, establishing high standards, and ensuring accountability
  • Exhibit and promote an attitude on the plant floor that leads to an engaged and energized workforce
  • Job Requirements

    Basic Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering or related field
  • 7 or more years of experience in facilities
  • 3 years supervisory experience
  • Due to ITAR restrictions, applicants must be US citizens or have permanent resident status.Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in AutoCad, office software, project management and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Good people management interpersonal skills, ability to speak to groups of employees or outside agencies, mathematical skills and analytical program solving.
  • Good understanding of financial data
    Depending on qualifications and experience, this position may be filled as a grade 18-19.
