As a Teller, you’ll provide our customers with outstanding service giving them your full attention while making their business your top priority. You’ll accurately conduct all credit and debit transactions in compliance with established bank policies and procedure.  Keep proper cash supply on hand and prepare daily proof record while maintaining and acceptable difference record.  Meet sales referral goals and actively participate in sales promotions.  You will process customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency and have the knowledge to make product and service recommendations.  Best of all, this role is the gateway to future career opportunities with RBS Citizens Financial Group.

As a Teller your primary responsibilities include:

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications:

  • Must successfully pass Teller Assessment
  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of six months cash handling experience required
  • Consistently provide World-Class service to customers, fellow employees and the management team
  • Ability to work all branch operating hours, as needed, including weekends and some evenings
  • Ability to travel, as needed, to required trainings and/or other branch locations
  • Keep proper cash supply on hand and prepare daily proof record while maintaining and acceptable difference record. 
  • Comply with relevant organization policies, procedures, regulations and laws

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous sales/customer service experience in a banking/retail environment
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to identify customer financial needs, goals and objectives

Hours and Work Schedule


Hours per Week:   40
Work Schedule:    Monday-Friday 9:00AM-4:00PM

Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM Saturday 9:00AM-12:00PM
