We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager at our client's state-of-the-art corporate headquarters located here in Columbus, Ohio. The Project Manager (PM) will manage multiple small to medium projects, throughout the project management life cycle. The PM will manage the scope, cost, schedule, resources and deliverables, which include applying Project Management Institute (PMI) techniques for Project Management structure, tracking, change control, regulatory compliance, and the management of risk. Duties include implementation of the Enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) methodology, including processes, procedures and policy, along with new project management initiatives, in support of PMO objectives. This role has ultimate responsibility for all assigned projects and manages customer satisfaction, definition, planning, monitoring, and other aspects of the projects under the leadership of the Enterprise Director of Program & Portfolio Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for thoroughly understanding, scoping, and communicating stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and managing all requirements. Establish clear ownership and timing for project tasks to ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback. Build cohesive project teams within a matrixed organization. Translate operational and business requirements into project specifications. Create project management schedules, summaries, risk assessments and other required documentation, which will provide efficient and seamless execution against prioritized initiatives. Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives. Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately. Manage costs, resources and deadlines within project scope. Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals. Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to the PMO Director. Communicate with the Enterprise Director of Program and Portfolio Management, project sponsors, team members and other stakeholders. Work collaboratively with development staff and support staff to maintain thorough knowledge of product capabilities, and to ensure that all communications between team members and key constituents are timely and accurate.
