Large manufacturing company South of Xenia is seeking a Financial Analyst/Business Analyst. POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for financial analysis including comprehensive analysis of financial and operating results, short term and long term forecasts, monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month-end closing procedures. Essential Functions Statement(s) Review performance by product, customer and region versus prior year and budget. Work with operations management to design, implement and track compensation programs for the sales organization. Communicate performance to operations management and assist in identifying efficiency opportunities and issues. Actively participate and drive the budgeting and re forecasting process with various stakeholders. Compile, review and analyze budget to actual monthly financial performance. Work closely with the senior management team to understand cost drivers and continually improve product profitability and business performance. Work with IT to develop and compile custom reports for decision making purposes based on management needs. Perform business scenario modeling analyzing capital projects, new product development and cost saving projects in support of key business objectives. Participates in ongoing initiatives to develop/implement tools for improving the forecasting and actual results reporting processes that support key financial and business metrics. Performs other assignments as directed.

Job Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting 4+ years related experience in Finance and/or Accounting in manufacturing Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task. Ethical - Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards. Honesty / Integrity - Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace. Initiative - Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal. Organized - Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task. Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems. Self Motivated - Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of ones ability using his or her own drive or initiative. Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations. Computer Skills Strong proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and common database reporting tools, including technical proficiency building complex models.
