Vendor Account Analyst

Position Description (Summary and Essential Duties)
This function is tasked with ensuring that all new business for CIT’s vendor programs is booked correctly and within target SLAs, reflecting the terms and conditions of the underlying contracts, as well as CIT’s internal Credit, Operations, and Finance policies & procedures. The Vendor Account Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all new business documentation is quality and compliance checked, booked and funded in accordance with CIT’s policies and procedures. As a member of the “Build the Deal” Team, this role may also be responsible for Sales Support activities focusing on the following key tasks: Lease Quote Generation & Follow-up, Proposal Capture, Credit Activities, Pricing, Document Generation, Pipeline Management, Forecasting, Deal Conversion, Vendor/Dealer Support & Query Resolution.

Quality audit of documentation to ensure that all CIT policies have been met, coordinating with sales support and the vendor on closing any deficiencies

Verify key customer and transactional data is complete and accurate
Approve and release purchase order to vendor
Contact potential customers to perform verbal audit prior to lease commencement
Perform regulatory audit and identify any regulatory red flags
Final approval of all transactions prior to payment and booking (under their role’s authority limit)
Coordination and entry of transactional data into appropriate systems
Assemble final document package and forward for imaging and storage

Coordinate contract adjustments where errors have been identified and confirmed
Forge relationships with various internal and external resources – Vendors, Customers, Internal Sales Support, Credit, Onboarding, Legal, Complance, Finance, etc.
Act as key interface between CIT & its vendors and customers during the originations process from initialtion to booking of new transactions.
Support CIT’s sales force and vendor partners in achieving volume and sales goals through proactive pipeline management and deal conversion.
Work with the various CIT departments to troubleshoot and resolve customer service related issues escalated to CIT’s vendor partners.
Process Improvement: Always looks for ways to improve current processes. Proactively communicates ideas and suggestions with team members and management.

Minimum Required Skills and Experience:

Essential
§ One year leasing or similar equivalent financial work experience
§ Ability to work accurately when under pressure.
§ Strong team player with ability to work on own initiative
§ Strong computer and mathematical skills.
§ Strong attention to detail
§ Strong administration and organizational skills
§ Intermediate MS Office Skills
§ Excellent verbal & written communication skills
§ Strong relationship management skills
§ Flexibility at month-end for overtime necessary

Desirable
§ College degree or 3-5 years similar equivalent financial work experience
§ Prior Equipment Leasing experience
§ Inside Sales or Relationship Management experience
§ Experience in service industry dependent on positive customer interaction
§ Experience in CCEx, or Infolease systems
