Job Description

Develops IT solutions primarily based on Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Works with end users during system design to determine functionality needs.
  • Frequently communicates with all stakeholders on issue resolution and progress of specific projects.
  • Codes and solves problems in C# using Visual Studio .NET.
  • Creates MS SQL Server 2005/2008 stored procedures, views, triggers, functions, tables, indexes.
  • Develops and executes test plans for applications to assure accuracy, integrity, and completeness to achieve desired results.
  • Documents new applications or changes to existing applications.
  • Works closely with end users to make them aware of updates and changes of the applications.
  • Analyzes programs or systems to determine the cause of the problem. Makes changes to prevent recurrence, modifying existing code and faulty files, writing and running special programs.
  • Helps others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge at a level of understanding appropriate to their job function.
  • Support the delivery of consultancy services, including supporting the work of colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience developing on the SharePoint platform (Windows
    SharePoint Services 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, InfoPath,
    Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Business Data Catalog, Web Services and
    SharePoint Designer 2007) in business environments: preparing, implementing,
    developing add-ons, producing end-user and technical documentation, supporting,
    and training users.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Security Model, Events, Alerts, and Workflows.
  • Experience in building Windows Workflow (WWF) solutions with Visual Studio 2008 and
    SharePoint Designer 2007.
  • Ability to effectively convey technical information to end users.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, in a fast paced environment.
  • Leadership: takes initiative and sees project tasks through successful completion.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Proactive and creative in managing issues and problems.
  • Easily adaptable to changing tasks.
  • Team experience. Must work well with others on team.
  • Desire to be on the cutting edge. Willing to stay on top of emerging technologies.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Contributes to the growth of the business by referring quality candidates into the hiring process.
