Job Description

The Kirkbride Center is seeking a candidate who will assist with the administrative functions of the human resources department. The successful candidate will work 20 hours a week and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Responsibilities include-

- Ensure that the department has an adequate supply of all forms and packets including; Employee Data Forms, employment applications, and recruitment brochures, etc.

 
- File all employee paperwork

-Assist in new hire orientation and coordinating training schedules

- Contact candidates to schedule phone interviews and send e-mails to candidates for face-to- face interviews

 
- Assemble new employee pre-employment processing and orientation packets

- Reserve conference room and any required equipment for new hire orientation

 
-Ensure that employee paperwork is obtained and processed

-Check HR hotline for inquiries

-Order office supplies

-Check the HR careers inbox

-Check mail

-Maintains confidentiality about sensitive employee info

-Assist with drug screenings

Job Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent

-        Minimum of 1 year experience in working in Human Resources, required

-        Administrative experience
-        Excellent written and oral communication skills
-        Possess superior customer service skills
-        Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time

Preferred:

-12 college credits
