Job Description

Responsible for soliciting lease and loan transactions ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000 in the initiative we service Generalists (Construction/ Transportation/Environmental/Medical or Manufactured). Collects and submits documentation related to credit, business and equipment needs.


Territory to include IL/MI area.


Responsibilities:


•         Develop new profitable business opportunities via referrals from Manufacturers, vendors and other sources


•         Execute highly focused prospecting activities.


•         Structure transaction solutions for customers and prospects utilizing existing and new CCC products


•         Represent CCC in the lending Community.


•         Follows up with prospective customers and referral sources to answer questions and overcome objections.


•         Drafts and delivers proposals to prospective lessees/borrowers; completes transactions


•           Ensures a continued high quality level of service.


•          Submits transactions to credit analyst for review providing write-up and including purpose and justification.


•         Facilitates closing of transactions via phone or in person


•         Handles other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Education - 


•         BS required - finance, business, accounting, economics or related field

Experience -


•         3 – 5 years of related experience – prospecting for volume in an equipment finance environment

 Job Skills / Knowledge -


•         Strong selling skills


•         Experience in credit structuring


•         Demonstrated ability to develop new customer relationships


•         Demonstrated ability to work closely in a team environment


•         Excellent interpersonal skills


•         Strong communication skills (written and oral)


•         PC skills – experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Dales Database Management


•         Strong pricing skills related to various components of loans and leases


•         Strong product knowledge of legal and tax lease parameters            


•          Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.  Must have the ability to work independently and to adjust priorities.


Physical Demands / Working Conditions -


•         Non-standard physical demands or working conditions


•         Travel by car is required for this position.


•         Must possess a valid driver’s license. Position involves 50-75% travel.
