•           Must be ableto effectively communicate both verbally and written with all level of employeesand guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
•           Must beeffective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised byemployees and guests.
•           Must be ableto multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
•           Approach allencounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous andservice-oriented manner.
•           Attend allhotel required meetings and trainings.
•           Maintainregular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotel Group Standards, asrequired by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
•           Maintain highstandards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags.
•           Comply withWyndham Hotel Group Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficienthotel operations.
•           Maximizeefforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementingsolutions.
•           Must beeffective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifyingand solving problems as necessary.
•           Must be ableto understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sourcesto meet appropriate objectives.
•           Must be ableto maintain confidentiality of information.
•           Must be ableto show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs
•           Perform otherduties as requested by management.Fundamental Requirements: 
•           Responsible for all front deskfunctions including check-ins, check-outs, payments, PBX operation, etc.
•           Preparation of reports for night auditand ensuring that the Front desk is covered at all times
•           Informs management of any unusualactivity during the course of their shift
•           Complete guest financialtransactions, act as general cashier for guest, complete drops and responsiblefor drawer accuracy
•           Prepares express check-outs
•           Balances all credit card roomcharges
•           Reports accidents, injuries,near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor
•           Reports unsafe conditions tosupervisors
•           Follows safety and securityprocedures and rules
•           Reviews room and tax postings foraccuracy
•           Ensures all house charges are postedaccurately and in a timely fashion
•           Completes all room night auditreports
•           Maintains a clean work area
•           Displays full awareness of currentstatus of the property and ensures smooth transition from shift to shift
•           Other duties as required

Job Requirements

Education & Experience: 
•           High School Diploma or equivalent
•           2 years of related experience or anequivalent combination of education and experience in a hotel or related fieldpreferred.Physical requirements:
•         Long hourssometimes required.
•         Light work -Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of forcefrequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.WHG is a drug-free workplace and may require a background check and drug test prior to employment.
