Vendor Operations Team Lead

Team Leader

Position Description
•Work with management to identify process improvements.
•Support Origination and Servicing teams in workflow to meet companies operational initiatives
•Participate in the design and development of systems and/or process enhancements to meet the need of our vendors and customer base.
•Hold team members accountable for established accountabilities
•Assess the workflow of all employees to identify opportunities to improve productivity and ensure that service levels are maintained.
•Ensure contracts are booked accurately and timely
•Schedule and monitor associate vacation, personal and sick time
•Recognize, anticipate, and resolve issues; making recommendations as applicable
•Hires, trains, develops, and appraises staff effectively, taking corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy
•Mentors and develops employees to broaden their skills and help them reach their maximum potential & achieve assigned career objectives
•Prepare yearly objectives and goals for staff
•Maintain quality performance of department staff
•Other duties and projects as needed to support the team
•Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management.
•Demonstrates initiative and confidence
•Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks
•Account reconciliation, problem/issue resolution background
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to develop and maintain client relationship with internal and external customers
•Strong computer skills, proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) preferred
•Able to perform a variety of complicated tasks as assigned
•Team player and eagerness to learn additional tasks
•College degree preferred
•Equivalent work experience, including 5 - 10 years in financial services field
•Management experience preferred

Minimum Requires Skills and Experience
•Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management.
