The Premier Partners is proud to be assisting Episcopal SeniorLife Communities in Rochester, New York in their search for a Vice President / Chief Operating Officer to serve as a key member of their Senior Leadership Team.  This is a newly created position, established to support the organization’s growth.  For consideration, candidates must be Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA).

The Vice President/Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the planning, development and the overall direction and management of the Episcopal Church Home and all licensed programs of ESLC.   He/she will manage within the governing codes, rules and regulations of the licensing agencies.  The Vice President/Chief Operating officer is the Board appointed administrator of record of ECH.

The Episcopal Senior Life Communities offers a variety of residential options to seniors including Independent Living, Assisted Living & Skilled Nursing services, as well as memory care, hospice and rehabilitation.  The Vice President/Chief Operating Officer will drive the overall administration and provide supervision across all of these business segments.

This is a terrific leadership opportunity for an individual experienced in the administration of skilled nursing, assisted living and/or senior living communities.  The Episcopal Senior Life Communities has an excellent reputation in the marketplace and has a 5 star quality rating.  The successful candidate will join a highly tenured and skilled leadership team in the management and development of a staff of 560 employees and coordination of quality care to a community of elders.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, preferably in health care administration, with 10+ years of leadership experience in aging services.
  • Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator.
  • Knowledge of New York State codes, rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Knowledge of current trends in the care of the aging.
  • Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, vendors and the general public.
