Data Analyst Higher Ed We are looking for Data Analyst with institutional research experience. Manage the core data function of this top accrediting commission in support of policy- and decision-making, strategic planning, and assessment on a wide variety of agency data. Provide data analysis support in response to member institution and Commission requests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist executives in research and analysis of commission-related data Supervise commission-required institutional report submissions, including the Annual Report Track, collect, and prepare data, verify accuracy, and prepare reports Coordinate the design, administration, and analysis of surveys Collect, analyze, and prepare statistical information from multiple sources Engage in the technical aspects of current statistical analysis, Use spreadsheet and database management software; query programs to access and extract data as required Use data analysis and graphic design to present data in ways that are accurate, accessible, appealing, and innovative Organize and report research results in narrative, tabular, graphical, and oral modalities

Job Requirements

Qualifications Experience with advanced research design (quantitative) and statistical analysis Ability to create web-based surveys Knowledge of methods and techniques of data collection, coding, extraction and processing and data modeling Experience with basic SQL queries (MS SQL, My SQL) SPSS and/or SAS, Excel efficiency Experience with basic mathematical and statistical computations required for research applications (e.g., T-tests, ANOVA, multivariate tests) Knowledge of data mining software and methodologies Technical Skills in Windows 7/Microsoft Office Suite, Access Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Birst, Crystal Reports) Advanced project management, data management, and reporting skills Strong writing, editing skills and oral presentation skills Ability to work with multiple stakeholders Education and Experience Bachelors degree in social sciences or quantitative discipline or a related field required; Masters degree preferred Five or more years of related professional experience in a higher education and/or learning-centered institution If you meet these requirements, please contact Kathy Mason at [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]
