Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Surgical Attendant maintains a clean environment within the operating rooms, support space, office space, lounges, hallways, and PACU/Preoperative Holding Area. The Surgical Attendant also restocks and makes available surgery supplies and equipment, transports patients to and from Surgery, runs errands, and otherwise assists the Surgery clinical staff, as needed.
Ability to maintain emotional control in times of stress, and to continue to perform appropriately.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have at least one year of recent experience working in a health care setting.
Must have American Heart Association BLS certification.
