Job Description


This positions is located in Norridge. 

Assists with assessing and administering care to patients in collaboration with the attending physician. Manages the medical care of the patient during emergency situations until the attending physician can be reached. Reviews services and care delivered to the patients of the Hospital for medical necessity, appropriateness, and conformity to professional standards. Candidates must be a physician Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or in Anesthesia training second year or higher, or Emergency Medicine training third year or higher. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care, Cardiology, Pulmonology, or Emergency Medicine preferred. Must be currently licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. ACLS certified and intubation certified by the hospital. Candidates must be credentialed by the Medical Staff Office. In clinical direct patient care positions, incumbents must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and diagnosis of the patietns served.
