- AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION - BLS
- CA LICENSE - RN
- FIRE/SAFETY CARD (must be presented within 30 days from DOH)
- 1-3 years of experience

POSITION SUMMARY


To provide assistance to the department medical staff users during the procedures and to ensure appropriate patient care while in the Imaging Department.
 

Job Requirements




At least two years experience in radiology intervention, or critical care setting. A strong knowledge of the principles and practices of general nursing and extensive interventional services processes and practices. An understanding of basic bacteriology as applied to contamination control and aseptic techniques. A working knowledge of managerial principals including staffing, scheduling, effective utilization of department resources. A knowledge of regulatory requirements/agencies that impact interventional radiology. Current license as Registered Nurse in the State of California required. Los Angeles City Fire/Safety Card within 30 days of hire. American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required. This position will also cover on-call after hours and weekends.
