Summary

The primary role of the Sales & Community Relations Executive is to manage all sales and engagement activities in assigned county (ies). Manage quality and consistency of product and services delivery. Support and engage in community activities that will help position the RiverLink Health brand. Develop contacts and connections to key community partners, companies and organizations that work with the existing or potential RiverLink Health customer. Support and manage member meetings, orientations, and annual events as assigned. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Identifies and follows up on sales leads and referrals. Minimum outreach levels will be defined annually in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
  • Establishes and maintains relationship with vendors and facilities for sales meetings, setting up member, educational and prospect meetings, looking for efficiency in meeting space booked and management of accounts.
  • Prepares sales presentations and supports the development of health and education presentations.
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients via telephone, community sponsored events, in home meetings or company sponsored meetings throughout the year.
  • Prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made each month inclusive of physician engagement, community and partner organizations.
  • Follows up on new leads and referral resulting from phone queue or field activity, keeping record of such work, maintain Customer Relationship Management details for all external networking clients.
  • Develops and maintains sales materials and current product knowledge, including an understanding of the competitive environment. Annual reporting on competitive landscape required. 
  • Ensures all responsibilities are conducted in a manner that meets The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and RiverLink Health Compliance Standards. 
  • Establishes and maintains current client and potential client relationships. Supports outbound retention calls to existing member, develops thank you and referral program contact schedule to all new members, and is present at any member events as assigned. 
  • Prepares administrative work necessary for enrollment or plan change as well as all administrative duties necessary to meet job expectations. 
  • Fluent in use of online enrollment and sales tools including Destination Rx and Medicare.gov. 
  • Identifies and resolves client concerns with one stop resolution. 
  • Prepares a variety of status reports, including monthly activity log.  
  • Communicates new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff and partners within designated service area. 
  • Participates in and supports activities related to meeting company sales objectives (such as monthly sales meetings, monthly staff meetings and weekly check in calls). 
  • Participates in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events, keeps a record of monthly, quarterly and annual opportunities noted within designated service region. 20% of time is allocated to community engagement and relationship development. 
  • Develops and maintains excellent relationships with community organizations serving people on Medicare or in our demographic. 
  • Manages expenses to budget. 
  • Required to maintain consistent work schedule inclusive of a balance of in office and field time. In office work for administrative reporting, retention projects and phone coverage for incoming sales leads is required weekly. 
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends as necessary to meet the objectives and expectations of the position. 

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or the equivalent
  • Three to five years sales and marketing experience are preferred
  • Experience working with Medicare recipients, knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques is preferred.
 

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

 

  • Must hold disability insurance licensure. Prefer life insurance licensure.
  • Must hold annual certifications necessary to sell Medicare and meet plan guidelines.
  • Must have a valid state driver license, proof of insurance and a reliable vehicle.
