Position Summary: The Data Analyst is a marketing professional who has 4+ years of experience in analyzing research and extracting valuable insights from syndicated databases for all properties represented by the company. including print, web and mobile. While the Data Analyst is a member of the Marketing department; they are also a key partner to the advertising sales team in equipping them with strong sales collateral. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: -A strong understanding of methodology, data & systems from syndicated research providers, as well as direct internet technology and analytics. -Significant experience with Adobe Site Catalyst, comScore, Google Analytics and other digital audience measurement resources. -Familiarity with Scarborough, Census demographics, PRIZM segmentation, AAM (formerly ABC), Kantar, Polk, Salesforce.com, and AdMall as well as other data sources. -Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Communications, or related field -Minimum 4+ years of digital marketing experience -Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint -Self-starter with proven ability to work on concurrent projects undertight deadlines; meet deadlines; and adapt quickly to business needs -Ability to work independently and exercise excellent judgment -Good interpersonal skills with excellent written and spoken communication skill -Collaborative and team-based working style -Strong attention to detail and follow-through -Ability and desire to proactively collaborate with management and sales executives DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Support local and national advertising sales team, by providing quantitative and qualitative research as well as marketing collateral for specific clients and industries. 2.Conduct in-depth analysis using various syndicated and proprietary databases. 3.Fulfill ongoing requests for client/industry-specific research from our sales team and company leadership. 4.Keep research team up to date on current digital news. 5.All other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: General Office Environment. Extensive computer use required. Some inter-office travel required.
