Cigna offers a Healthy Life Incentive for Cigna Medical Plan participants who live tobacco free. As a result, non-tobacco users pay a reduced premium for their Medical Plan coverage.

Responsible for preparation, research, accrual, and reporting in compliance with minimum medical loss ratio regulations. Coordinates project and request with market finance departments. Other duties may include preparation and research related to variable interest entities and other projects as assigned. May conduct audits to ensure financial controls are maintained. Designs, enhances, and maintains system applications for processing and reporting financial information. Other duties as assigned.
Reporting responsibility for Cigna-HealthSpring minimum medical loss ratio regulations including development in approach, tracking progress, budgeting/forecasting results, and communicating results.
Assists in compliance with policies and procedures related to internal controls and SOX implementation.
Typically requires BS in Accounting or Finance; minimum 5 years experience in related accounting; or any combination of education and experience.
CPA Certification preferred
Excellent technical skills, including an understanding of financial reporting requirements under GAAP
Moderate to advanced skill with Excel
Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred
