Robert Half Financial Services is currently recruiting for a 5+ year Compliance Analyst with experience testing compliance with laws and regulations relevant to mortgage lending. The Compliance Analyst will perform compliance risk assessments on assigned business functional areas and reports identified risks. Provide support to CCO, CRO and counsel on projects as requested. - Assist in managing the day-to-day mortgage compliance efforts related to regulatory, legal, policies, procedures and practices. - Perform loan file reviews to determine if documentation and processes are in compliance with internal company requirements, insurer guidelines, investor requirements, fair lending and other government regulations and document findings and communicate results - Utilize mortgage knowledge to ensure compliance and regulatory risks in underwriting, regulatory compliance, fraud, fair lending and HMDA are identified and mitigated. - Assist in coordinating compliance monitoring activities, performing fair lending risk assessments, resolving questions, reviewing and analyzing results and creating performance reporting for business - Help to develop corrective action plans, including policies and procedures, to address compliance deficiencies, minimize violations and prevent systemic compliance issues - Prepare monthly management compliance report with details of testing activity and deficiencies - Collect and document data, including alert, investigation, or SAR history; KYC information; relevant account and transaction data, plus any other required information to assist the investigation - Follow-up with accountable business and compliance leaders and their teams to ensure control issues are effectively resolved - Conduct AML compliance reviews to determine if business processes, procedures, and controls are designed appropriately and operating effectively - Develop risk and control matrix and test scripts for the testing of program areas/products - Identify potential concerns and control issues, determine the root cause of issues and ensure stakeholders develop and implement appropriate corrective actions; ***Interested candidates please email [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]***

Job Requirements

Education - Bachelors Degree At least 5 years of prior experience in compliance, surveillance, audit or other control function Thorough knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements applicable to consumer lending, mortgage banking, and servicing laws and other mortgage related laws and regulations Ability to deal with legal and compliance issues in a practical and efficient manner Proactive in identifying risks and proposing creative solutions Highly motivated, reliable, and accountable Good team player - one who is able to prioritize in a fast moving, constantly changing start-up environment Ability to work with a range of senior managers, peers and colleagues and build smooth working relationships Strong project management, analytical, and functional skills
