Job Description

Healthcare Software Business Development Representative - base plus unlimited commission plan.


TRICAST, Inc., is a pharmacy data analytics and consulting firm. Our proprietary software products help our clients manage pharmaceutical expenditures and utilization with a next-generation approach that discovers, analyzes, and defines opportunities and risks.


Our Product

Reveal is a next generation software tool that allows for real-time analysis and identification of pharmacy program issues. Reveal saves money and reduces the risk of government fines and sanctions. 


Our Open Position

The role of the Business Development Representative at TRICAST is to introduce our new Reveal software and to establish new appointments with qualified prospects.  The Business Development Representative will execute a well-defined sales plan by building important new relationships for TRICAST.   The position will report to the Senior Vice President of Business Development and will be trained on the latest in Health Care software technology and the Medicare market place.


These responsibilities include the following activities:

  • Meet/exceed quota by booking new software appointments
  • Make approximately 40-50 outbound calls daily to identify new sales opportunities
  • Ability to understand the customers key needs/challenges
  • Responsible for updating CRM with key information
  • Accurately update sales forecast on a weekly basis and build a strong pipeline to support assigned software quota
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients, decision makers, including CFO, COO, Pharmacy Director, VP of Pharmacy, Compliance Officers, and HR Executives.  
  • Gather market intelligence and relay to management in order to improve offerings and communication for local market needs

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-3 years of successful sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills including both verbally and written
  • Ability or willingness to learn how to develop a good account growth strategy
  • Self-motivated professional with ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and adjust to new internal software tools
  • Ability to push back to Senior level prospects


Growing needs for timely information and increased healthcare regulations Tricast is going through growth.  For the right individual, quick transitions into outside sales or management are possible.  


Compensation

Salary $30,000 plus bonus plus full benefits package. Expected first year earnings for meeting sales and quota objectives is $75,000 with unlimited ceiling.
