The Member Center Assistant Manager assists in all aspects of managing the Member Center, and has direct supervisory responsibilities for member service operations, which may include member service, cash, facilities, audits, security, relationship building. The assistant manager is second-in-command of the member center and during absences of the manager will act as Member Center Manager.
- Assists the Member Center Manager in overseeing a member center operation that is adequately staffed with well-trained and motivated partner-employees performing in a safe and sound manner according to applicable practices, regulations, laws, and procedures while providing member-owners with prompt, courteous and accurate service. (40%)
- As a working manager, assists in other Member Center roles as needed. Identifies opportunities to expand members’ relationships with the credit union by recommending appropriate products and services. Educates and trains member-owners on how to utilize convenient services and encourages increased use of the cooperative while deepening member relationships. (25%)
- Supervises, schedules, consistently coaches, regularly reviews, and develops for advancement, Member Center staff. (25%)
Represents WPCU at community and public events. (if required by market) (10%)
