Job Description

As a PNC Centralized Financial Advisor you will become part of PNC Investments, a specialized subsidiary of PNC Bank that provides products and services for individuals interested in investing, college planning, or retirement planning. You also join an retail banking organization committed to leadership in the affluent marketplace. As a Financial Advisor, your role would be to provide PNC Investment clients sound investment advice and guidance with a financial plan that connects their short-term and long-term goals with their personal dreams.

The role of a trusted Centralized Financial Advisor is to continue to work closely with our clients, prospects, and referral sources to uncover financial planning needs and develop and execute a financial plan based on their unique situation. Responsible for promoting a multi-solution process leveraging external and internal resources in efforts to effectively help clients solve their planning needs by providing financial guidance with Asset Allocations, Education, Estate Preservation, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, and Wealth Transfer. Your position will report to a Regional Sales Manager.

A typical day combines entrepreneurial opportunity with the structure, security and resources of an established name in financial services. Your schedule will be self-managed, and may call for local travel. Importantly, you remain 'in your element' - active in communities you know and working with your existing network of relationships. Clients will trust your authority, industry knowledge and product expertise to help them realize their financial dreams. As you build your client base, you will be able to lean upon PNC Investments' unrivalled technology and call center support. Your business development and prospecting skills will play an important role in attracting new relationships, while partnership with PNC partners will help you service, retain and grow them.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 3-5 years sales experience in the financial services industry, with demonstrated experience in managed money accounts with advisory fee-based platforms required.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 or (63 & 65) licenses required.
  • Life Insurance License required.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the brokerage business, financial markets, with strong business orientation.
  • Extensive experience utilizing financial planning tools and software application.
  • Extensive understanding of risk management and its effect on the business and corporation.
  • Excellent sales and closing skills
  • Successful experience in relationship building and retention of clients
  • Excellent communications skills required
  • Demonstrated client satisfaction focus required
