Job Description

As Credit Audit Process Manager, you will be a member of PNC's Credit Audit group within the Corporate Internal Audit Division and will be located in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Philadelphia, PA; or Raleigh, NC.  Your responsibilities include performing credit reviews that provide an independent and objective evaluation of credit risk within commercial and consumer lending portfolios.  You will provide the lending line of business relationship managers, credit underwriters, and credit risk managers with an assessment of the accuracy and timeliness of credit decisions, credit quality risk ratings (e.g. PD and LGD), and the effectiveness of credit administration activities including risk analysis, portfolio monitoring, policy compliance, underwriting guideline adherence, problem loan management, management information system data completeness and accuracy, and other credit risk servicing areas.

The successful candidate will have the following demonstrated skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Business related degree. Advanced degree preferred.

Industry certifications are desirable including RMA Credit Risk Certification (CRC), BAI Loan Review Certification, CPA, MBA, or other industry specific

Typically 6+ years experience in credit review, credit risk management, or internal audit, and 5 years of commercial credit experience preferred .

Proven financial analysis skills and commercial credit structure knowledge with demonstrated attention to detail. Experience with risk assessing large, complex commercial credit transactions, analyzing financial statements, and understanding of portfolio management processes. Must have the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, formulate sound conclusions, and make consultative recommendations.

Knowledge/understanding of banking products and practices, commercial credit risk ratings, loan structure, and credit deterioration risk triggers.

Knowledge of principles/techniques of accounting, auditing, banking, regulatory compliance and internal control systems

Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative peer working relationship experiences.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Data analytic skills and the use of data analytic tools preferable

Limited travel throughout the PNC footprint is required as needed
