Health Choice has an excellent career opportunity for an experiences and proven Windows Systems Administrator.

Ensuring the availability and optimal performance of a wide variety of hosted services and the hardware on which they run.

Contributing to or managing infrastructure projects as assigned by management.

Designing, implementing, documenting, and supporting new hosted services that further the goals of the  business.

Identifying process improvements and making recommendations for needed changes or automation.

Digging deep and utilizing all available resources to get to the bottom of systems issues in a complex environment.

Making yourself an expert in the services you support and ensuring new knowledge is shared with your peers.

Maintaining environment, procedure and change documentation according to policy.

Generating and taking action on reports of systems health and performance.

Tracking your work in a ticket management system.

Providing 2nd level helpdesk support to end users.

Providing backup to other IS team members in the areas of networking, telecom and AS/400.

Participating in an after hours on-call rotation.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

College degree in a computer related field (preferred)

3+ years previous Windows system administration experience.

Strong base in Windows administration fundamentals: OS; Active Directory; GPOs;DNS; DHCP; TCP/IP networking, best practices, etc.

Experience in VMware vSphere.

Experience in enterprise storage (SAN/NAS).

Experience with automation scripts (preferable Powershell).

The ability to solve business and technical problems through the application of appropriate technology.

The ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities and to remain focused under high pressure.

A drive to improve supported systems as well as yourself, your team and your company.

Awesome communication skills.

Relevant industry certification (Microsoft, VMware) )preferred)
