General Manager 

JOB DESCRIPTION
In business for nearly 60 years, Guardian is a financially strong and rapidly growing security industry leader.
We are in search of an energetic and highly-qualified individual to lead an aggressive expansion of our existing
residential and small commercial business segments in the Austin market. The chosen candidate will join a winning team and
will be a highly-professional, proven leader who has the demonstrated skill sets and background to flourish in a fast - paced and dynamic environment.
 

Responsibilities include:
 
Oversee all business activities of Guardian’s Austin branch, including the following:

• Supervise sales and operations managers who, in turn, oversee sales, customer service and other branch personnel
• Lead or assist other managers, as necessary, in the recruitment , training, and development of sales and operation teams
• Assume full P&L responsibility for the branch
• Assist  Guardian’s Executive Staff in developing and communicating branch financial goals
• Continually monitor and manage activities and processes necessary to achieve stated financial goals
• Build and maintain relationships with key existing and new customer accounts and strategic partners
• Assure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including HR and employee safety
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates must possess:
 

• A set of experiences that includes the management of high performing operations and sales teams ( in home sales and operations experience a plus, but not a requirement)
• Preferably, a sales background with a proven track record of managing successful, goal – oriented sales teams in the residential sales space
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Highly – developed team building and leadership skills
• An ability to understand, analyze, and react to key financial performance metrics
• (Experience in the new home builders space, including structured wiring and home technologies a plus, but not a requirement)
