Job Description

Red Lion is currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to fill a full-time role at its York, PA corporate headquarters.  This position is responsible for the creation, execution and tracking of a marketing plan to support Red Lion’s Americas region as well as the management of corporate marketing services staff and resources to achieve strategic objectives. Drive brand awareness and lead generation by developing effective materials to support integrated multi-touch marketing programs and activities. This role is a B2B marketing position, so previous experience with B2B marketing is essential for success in this role.

o   The marketing team has global objectives and as the leader of the Americas region, this role should ensure that the objectives are achieved and aligned with global regions.

o   Ensure the roadmap and budget align as well to drive brand awareness and lead generation.

o   Collaborate with internal teams like sales, product management, engineering and finance as well as external partners like customers, prospects, media and vendors to develop and execute the Americas region plan.


o   Responsible for managing the corporate marketing services team to support corporate initiatives, product launches and global marketing plans.

o   Manages resources to create content and materials for integrated multi-touch marketing programs and activities. This includes promotional campaigns, product launches, tradeshows, and events.

o   Oversees media purchasing and integrated print/online planning for the Americas region.

o   Manages the event and tradeshow schedule for the Americas region. Enlists support from internal teams in sales, engineering, and others to deliver a strong band message and a strong professional corporate presence at tradeshows. Ensure that messaging aligns with global graphic and product imaging.

o   Tracks activities of the corporate and regional marketing team. Submits monthly reports outlining completed and planned activities.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • BA in marketing, communications or related discipline from a four-year, accredited institution.
  • Five years related B2B experience including prior budget responsibility and staff management in a similar marketing role.
  • Demonstrates oral and written communication skill to effectively interface with all levels of Company management and staff, customers and outside business contacts.
  • Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping abilities are a must.
  • Proficiency with English language both written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Eight years related B2B experience with at least three years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience overseeing Americas marketing programs.
  • Experience working for an industrial manufacturer.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of 3-5 marketing employees based in PA.
