Job Description

  • POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
    Responsible for performance of para-administrative and clerical duties in support of clinical services which include: patient reception, answering incoming telephone calls, appointment scheduling, registration, patient arrival and dismissal, referral coordination, financial screening, patient account inquiry and cash collections.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Prefer one year of college study or the completion of a recognized clerical vocational training program with medical terminology. One year of general clerical/secretarial experience is required. Experience in the use of Windows software is required. Prefer work experience to have occurred in a medical office or clinic setting. Experience in the utilization of an on-line scheduling and registration system is preferred. Designated cash handlers must successfully complete the Patient Services Cashier course and be designated as a Patient Services Cashier during the initial probationary period.
