PICK-n-PULL Auto Dismantlers is a self-service auto dismantling and recycling company, now with 50+ LOCATIONS throughout the U.S. and Canada, which is focused on consolidating the highly fragmented recycled auto parts market. General Position Summary:
Supervise all phases of store sales activities and employees to ensure goals are met safely and efficiently. Responsible for monitoring all store sales functions to conform to company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
  • Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety Team to ensure store is adhering to all safety and environmental policies and procedures. Promotes a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant store for employees and customers.
  • Responsible for store housekeeping.
  • Work with all sales and production personnel to continually improve store results and execute company strategies.
  • Participates in the hiring, training, and proper delegation of sales personnel and scheduling work hours.
  • Monitors and evaluates job performance; trains and develops sales staff.
  • Communicates and implements policies and procedures; leads by example for the rest of the team.
  • Prepares sales reports and assigned tasks for the store.
  • Directs and participates in customer care functions.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the sales staff to keep the team updated to maintain sales team enthusiasm, ensure a positive attitude, and to review key performance indicators.
  • Conducts coaching sessions, trains continually to improve the effectiveness of the selling model.
  • Ensures that all company policies, sales and marketing programs and merchandizing initiatives are current, communicated and implemented for management and the Sales/Customer Service employees in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all sales transactions and cash management procedures are in compliance with company policy.
  • Responsible for the overall safeguarding of company assets.
  • Promote a positive and fulfilling work environment.
  • Partner with all internal corporate support resources to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations to achieve results.
  • Spends at least 85% of their time on the sales floor.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Good people skills with an outgoing friendly positive attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities and perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills including email Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to work required hours which includes weekends and holidays at any store assigned by management within reasonable distance from home store.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous retail sales management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Auto Dismantling Industry, or auto parts sales experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
    Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
  • Must be able to work any day including Saturday & Sunday!
  • Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching are required outside in the weather for extended periods during the day..
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 50 pounds.
  • Vision must be sufficient to perform job functions safely.
    Supervisory Responsibility:
    This position will manage/direct the selection, training, development, appraisal and work assignments of non-exempt hourly employees.
    Job Conditions:
  • Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
