Job Description

The Administrative Assistant handles a wide variety of situations and functions in the administrative offices.  The Administrative Assistant serves as a liaison between executives, medical staff, associates and the general public, making independent decisions when appropriate and working as part of a team for overall support of Santa Rosa Directors.  The Director(s) set(s) the overall objectives and provide(s) general supervision.  The Administrative Assistant provides overall administrative support to the Director(s) to whom assigned to accomplish daily workloads.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/SKILLS: Must have computer skills in word processing, presentation software, electronic mail, and spreadsheets; must have knowledge of Windows working environment. Must be able to operate facsimile machines, printers, copiers, audiovisual equipment and other office equipment. Must be able to type at a rate of approximately 80 wpm. Must possess good written and oral communication skills. EXPERIENCE: Two years of college. Significant applicable experience in lieu of college may be considered.
