Job Description

As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and assessing technical talent for Vaco, which includes making recommendations to and executing the internal recruitment strategy.

Job Functions:

  • Source candidates through the use of internal tools, Boolean searches, user groups, candidate referrals, networking, and web sourcing.
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Call, screen and qualify technical candidates and assist them through the recruitment process.
  • Implement a consistent screening process for all candidates
  • Ensure consistent communication regarding candidate search and status through meetings, email, voicemail updates and reports
  • Track, analyze and report candidate pipeline status, recruiting trends and key performance indicators


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years experience in technical recruiting or sourcing at a high profile technology company
  • Experience and deep understanding of software technology hiring requirements, practices and benchmarking
  • Keen knowledge of programming languages, web technologies, software development process, as well as industry specific related data to facilitate in direct sourcing efforts
  • Experience sourcing SW Engineering and Infrastructure is a must.
  • Must have a clear understanding of the recruiting process and the importance of the candidate and hiring manager experience and willingness to enhance processes to provide a stronger experience
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
  • Exceptional organization skills with high attention to detail
