Market Manager

 

Do you have a proven track record of success in the staffing industry? Are you a strategic thinker with experience in successfully managing multiple lines of business?

 

Roth Staffing Companies, L.P. is seeking a Market Manager. This individual must be a strategic sales driver with experience managing a branch operation in the staffing industry and managing multiple lines of business including executive search and professional services.

 

The Market Manager role requires an individual responsible for maintaining high morale, encouraging team growth and growing new and existing business. A Market Manager at s is a management position, in which you will oversee multiple operating units (and potentially multiple lines of business), and be responsible for the growth of revenue and gross profit for your business units. A Market

Manager has full profit and loss responsibility for his/her operating units.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

Consultative Selling:Effectively determine customer needs, wants and budget. Achieve sales goals by demonstrating mastery of all essential selling techniques: prospecting and territory management, pre-call planning, cold calling, qualifying, proposals, presentations, gaining commitment. Follow up to ensure successful results and post-sale customer satisfaction.

 

Results Focus: Set high goals and achieve them. Seeks performance feedback and uses it to get better. Stay on-task in spite of distractions and interruptions. Demonstrates persistence; meet all deadlines and goals.

 

Relationship Building:Build and maintain a network of contacts useful in achieving work-related goals. Skilled in building rapport and developing interpersonal relationships with a diverse variety of individuals. Treat all people with dignity and respect. At ease with people at all levels, not belittling the opinions or work of other people, regardless of their status or position. Demonstrate a high degree of “emotional intelligence.”

 

Ethics and Integrity:Uphold and model the organization’s Mission, Vision and Values. Use honesty, ethics and integrity to guide behavior and decisions. Respect and maintain confidentiality. Admit own mistakes in spite of the potential for negative consequences. Keep promises; meet goals and deadlines. Seek counsel from Management when unsure of appropriate actions.

 

Business Acumen: Display an understanding of how our company earns revenue and drives profits. Understand the customer focus of our business. Possess an overall “big picture” understanding of the staffing industry and its interrelationships, enabling better business decisions.

 

 



Job Requirements

Required Experience:

          Minimum 4+ years as a successful selling Branch Manager in the staffing industry

          Experience overseeing multiple lines of business, including professional services

          Bachelors Degree in related field is required

          Track record of building and managing strong sales and service teams, managing costs, budgeting, developing sales forecasting methods, improving margins, and increasing revenue.

          Strong documentation and investigative skills

          Strong negotiation and persuasion skills

          Effective oral and written communication skills

          Ability to interact with all levels of management

 

Desirable Experience

          Graduate Degree in related discipline
