Job Description


Randstad Professionals, formerly The Mergis Group, is seeking Fund Accountants for a direct hire position at a leading fund administration organization.  This candidate will be responsible for providing accounting services and performance analysis.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Preparing financial statements and reports, calculating net asset value, maintaining general ledgers and other accounting and record keeping activities as assigned.
  • Maintaining ledger accounts and developing financial statements and reports
  • Performing account reconciliations during month end and periodically.
  • Collecting, reaching and reviewing financial data for regulatory and financial reports
  • Creating and reviewing account reconciliations and certifications
  • Deliver reports on cash needs and balances to additional staff


Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • 2 years of relevant Fund Accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate information and ideas effectively to clients and management
  • Possess strong attention to detail
