Service Desk Analyst

Job Description

 General Duties

  • Provide first level support for internal company employees as well as external customers
  • Responsible for problem recognition and resolution, often using specialized help desk computer programs and databases
  • Responsible for entering and tracking incidents and requests into a workflow  management system
  • Expedient response to issues and questions through both email and phone


  • Exceptional customer service skills (advocate for the customer) - able to deliver courteous, professional, and patient assistance to a wide range of customers/users, some of whom may have limited technical communication skills or knowledge

      •  Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and     communicate progress in a timely manner


Job Requirement

  • Required Education/Training/Experience:
  • 1+ years in a customer-facing support environment, IT Service Desk, Help Desk or established Call Center, (technical support preferred)
  • Knowledge of and experience in multi-channel IT support environment (phone, email, chat, self-service)
  • Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management and/or ITIL Framework
