Job Description

We invite you to come join our Diagnostic Radiological Imaging (DRI) Center's team as an Ultrasound Technologist.  This full-time career opportunity has a Monday thru Friday dayshift schedule, and is located at our outpatient imaging practice in Sacramento on Scripps Drive.  Our center provides a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the community in a patient friendly and comfortable environment.  As a Sonographer you'll get to:

  • Perform a wide range of outpatient ultrasound exams, such as general ultrasound, breast, OB/GYN, vascular, and other ultrasound exams on incoming patients.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Assist the radiologist with procedures and biopsies if needed.
  • Participate in projects, tasks, and/or meetings as assigned by management.

  • Job Requirements

    Seeking a knowledgeable and professional sonographer who is able to independently perform all outpatient ultrasound procedures with high quality results.  The successful completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, CPR certification, 2+ years of recent ultrasound work experience, and RDMS certification (or ARRT in Sonography) are also a must.

    RVT certification is a plus!
