Job Description

Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc. (CCMSI), a leading Third Party Administrator in self-insurance services headquartered in Danville, IL, is seeking a Nurse Case Manager for Workers’ Compensation for the Albuquerque, NM office. 

 

This position is responsible for comprehensive case management of assigned case files, acting as a resource for all involved parties.  The nurse case manager creates flexible, cost effective options for work-injured individuals to facilitate quality of care, to create individualized treatment goals, and to achieve the best possible outcomes. It is the nurse case manager’s responsibility to assure the claimants’ care is appropriate, cost effective and leads toward rapid and safe return to work and maximum medical improvement.  




Job Requirements

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

 

-         Licensed RN in the state of New Mexico
-        Experience in Case Management, Workers’ Compensation or Occupational Health Nursing is preferred

-         Knowledge of common software programs such as Microsoft Office

-         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-         Strong decision making and organizational skills

-         Ability to perform processing duties with minimal supervision

-         Detail oriented and flexible   

-         Professional demeanor a must

-         Ability to work as a team

-         In state travel will be required
