Responsible for all Company day
to day general ledger and consolidation accounting, preparation of management
and financial reporting, including communication/coordination with subsidiaries
for the remittance of all appropriate financial data, as well as ensuring all
account analysis are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Assist in GAAP
compliance across the vision enterprise.
- Responsible for the Company parent company monthly close process
- Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries and reports
- Communication/coordination of consolidation calendars and information
requests from subsidiaries
- Preparation of month end account analysis/reconciliations for all Company
parent company as well as consolidation work papers
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and internal
- Assist with the preparation of Company Consolidated audited financial
- Assist with the development of financial policies (and monitoring
compliance) to enhance internal controls, create efficiencies, and safeguard
company assets without encumbering the business
- Assist in gathering and compiling year end audit
client prepared documents for external auditors

Previous experience in retail or insurance is a plus;
public accounting preferred
CPA is not a requirement, but preferred
Must have Bachelor’s
Degree in accounting
years public accounting experience with national firm
years of Accounting experience
Experience using Great Plains required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Hyperion and PeopleSoft
experience a plus
Must submit to background and drug screen
