Job Description

The Field Technician is responsible for providing quality customer service while ensuring that the customer's issues are resolved timely and within service level agreements.  The technician is responsible for providing on-site technical support including, servicing and repair of equipment, replacement of equipment parts and conducting equipment maintenance.  The technician is also responsible for maintaining assigned inventory and equipment.

Job Requirements

The position requires the ability to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.  Position may require extensive travel within an assigned area.  Candidates must provide own transportation, maintain a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.  Successful candidate will have a high school diploma, plus 1 – 3 years of relevant experience.  Associates degree in a technical field is preferred. A+ certification is a plus.  1 - 2 years’ experience servicing a POS environment is desired, but not required.  Excellent communication and time management skills is a must.  

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:  Work flexible schedules to include weekends and holidays as scheduled, ability to lift and handle between 25 – 50 lbs., bend, stoop and stretch as required for placement and retrieval of material or equipment, work may require the use of a ladder, extended periods of sitting while driving and standing while on-site working.  Must have the ability to work in a fast paced demanding environment, occasional overnight travel as required.
