Strategic Account Manager – Outside Sales Representative

Job Requirements
As a Strategic Account Manager, you must be highly motivated with a strong and versatile consultative approach to selling, with strong active-listening skills. You must also have solid analytical and problem-solving skills as well as keen attention to detail. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be developing relationships with a wide variety of decision makers at some of the largest companies in the nation.

Specific qualifications for the Strategic Account Manager position include:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in a complex and challenging sales environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and build upon a strong sales pipeline.
  • Ability to sell in a team environment
  • Ability to keep current with a large and ever-growing product line
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, particularly in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
  • Consultative sales training or certification a plus
