Job Requirements


As an Account Manager - Outside Sales with Encore Payment Solutions, you will capitalize on business development opportunities by visiting small to medium sized business owners in order to assess the opportunity for better service and cost reduction as well as the need for technology and payment security upgrades. Candidates with experience in a selling environment are preferred; however, we welcome entry level associates who are willing to work hard to develop client relationships. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contacting new and existing customers to discuss their needs, answer questions, and identify solutions offered by our products and services
  • Quoting prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications
  • Emphasizing product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
  • Negotiating prices or terms of service agreements
  • Identifying prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows or conferences as necessary
  • Preparing contracts and submitting orders for processing
  • Collaborating with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies or marketing tactics
