Our Training is One of a Kind

Homewatch CareGivers University is a professionally developed caregiver training platform designed to train our caregiver employees. The University consists of online classes, available 24/7 from anywhere with an internet connection. The classes available range from best practices of taking care of children, to understanding how to better care for individuals with chronic diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, or Parkinson’s Disease.
The University carries online accredited courses to meet the training requirements you may have to keep up with caregiver certification and licensure.

• On-line for self-paced study and on-line tests for instant scoring with E-Certificates issued immediately after successful test and evaluation completion.

Job Description

If you have at least one year of caring for seniors or the disabled, apply today for a career that truly makes a difference!

Join our team of elite caregivers. Homewatch CareGivers  is hiring compassionate and reliable certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and experienced caregivers to care for our clients in their homes. Duties may include activities of daily living and personal care, such as assisting with grooming and toileting, meal preparation and feeding, engaging client in activities, light housekeeping, and transportation. Advanced skills and/or an interest in chronic conditions and complex care a plus.

Flexible hours - our goal is to create a schedule that works for both you and our clients - with the hours you are looking for. This is a great opportunity for moms, nursing students or retired nurses getting back to the workforce. 

 
Our CareGivers must be reliable, dependable, honest, and compassionate with the desire to exceed the expectations of the client.  CareGivers must have their own transportation.


Our office is located in Florence, Kentucky and we provide quality homecare to clients in Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties in Northern Kentucky.




Job Requirements

 
Nurse Aide Certification is preferred
. The right attitude, a willingness to work and a true desire to help others are the most important requirements.

 

  • High School Diploma or GED    
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.    
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience caring for seniors or the disabled
  • Able to stand an average of 5 hours per day
  • Able to lift 20-30 pounds
  • Able to use tools necessary for job
  • Effective communication skills 
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle   
  • Must pass background review and drug screen

  • TB test or chest X-Ray within past year

  • Weekend availability
