The Manager, Commerce & Conversion Solutions will lead the strategic evaluation of e-commerce opportunities for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) and support the expansion and refinement of current conversion efforts.  This role will lead the creation of a comprehensive e-commerce vision and define strategic imperatives to achieve that vision.  This position will also serve as the project management lead for deployment of approved current and future e-commerce initiatives.

This position will collaborate extensively with Information Technology, Marketing, Sales and various business leads to evaluate and implement e-commerce and conversion solutions that help drive incremental business via current and potential new channels (retail partners, e-tailers, etc.).  This will include technical efforts focused around data transfer in addition to ensuring that partners deliver brand appropriate experiences that maximize conversion.
While e-commerce typically includes B2C electronic sales, this position will also be responsible for evaluating and implementing various e-commerce support efforts.  Examples of conversion tools that also need to be evaluated include appointment scheduling, request a quote functionality, inventory availability, retail pricing, CRM, phone call generation, etc. 
In this position, the manager will rely heavily on consumer insights and analytics to help formulate all strategies and recommendations.  Quality control and usability testing will also be essential to ensure consumer experiences that are optimized for maximum conversion.
This position will collaborate extensively with Manager, Digital Engagement & Conversion and agency partners to share analytics and insights in addition to working together to drive traffic via SEO, SEM and display media to e-commerce sites or tools.

Job Requirements

• BS/BA Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related field.
• At least 8-10 years professional experience in digital marketing, information technology, e-commerce or related field required. 
• An ideal candidate will also have experience managing direct reports and extensive direct agency management experience.
Experience managing web development or information technology projects, including budget management is necessary. Candidate must have experience connecting back-end infrastructure and systems to front-end user (consumer) interfaces.  Experience driving conversion, including e-commerce is also desired. 
Candidate must be familiar with content management systems, website analytics software and SEO best practices.  Extensive experience in project management required and demonstrated process improvement experience a plus.  Experience leading cross functional initiatives/projects in a collaborative manner is also required.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, proven ability to drive results and gain support of others and strong communication skills.  Someone who is detail oriented with proven time management and organization skills is necessary in this role.
Working Conditions:
This position requires great adaptability, organization, communication, prioritization and multi-tasking skills due to the fast-paced nature of the department.  It is very important to collaborate with many cross-functional teams in addition to external companies/agencies.  Maintaining specific and detailed schedules is crucial in addition to accurate records related to position responsibilities.  Position may require travel, including holidays and weekends.
