Plant Maintenance Supervisor
Manages the personnel, equipment, budget, invoicing, material resources, purchased utilities/services, operation, maintenance, repair and administration as assigned for University Health System. Utilizes industry accepted and proven materials and method as required to ensure the safe, efficient, effective, and reliable operation/administration of the same. Complies with UHS and departmental policies and procedures
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Five years of progressively responsible experience in a large hospital facility (>500,000 sq. ft.) mechanical maintenance department - three of which were in a supervisory position. Five (5) years experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of the types, sizes and complexity of equipment found within the Energy Plant: centrifugal chillers, steam distribution system, distribution pumps, fire sprinkler system, digital control management system, cooling tower, chemical feed systems, etc. Ability to utilize spreadsheet and word processing software.
