Manager, Hardware Information Security Support (Encryption, Risk & Compliance)-91851
Description
Job Summary
Plan and lead the work efforts of others.
Demonstrate appropriate leadership style in varying circumstances.
Will support Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and other encryption devices.
Willing to support activities at data centers to include working on hardware. Must have good communication and networking skills to interface with a variety of technical support groups, both internally and externally.
Assign priorities for work as established by management, ensure workload is monitored daily, build cross functional teams within the department and ensure the timely delivery of work.
Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Pursues and assumes new/additional opportunities.
Complete performance review responsibilities, matching team member goals with department goals and establishing areas for needed growth. Create plans and track Team Member growth and mastery of job responsibilities.
Must become knowledgeable of PCI compliance and mandates associated with audits. Must keep up with the latest industry standards as it pertains to data integrity and cryptography.
Must understand change management methodology.
Must keep up with the latest industry standards as it pertains to hardware security modules (HSM’s), data integrity, and key management.
Work well in a fast paced, high pressured environment with irregular hours.
Travel as required.

Responsibilities
Work on routine and specialized projects and has supervisory responsibility of Team Members performing skilled tasks in one or more encryption functional areas.
Will act as a subject matter expert for HSM support, projects, guidance of compliance requirements and potential risk impacts.
Serves as an escalation point for assigned work area and individual team member issues.
Ensure proper documentation/retention of training, events, activities, etc. to meet audit compliance.
Review Visa, MasterCard, National, International, Regulatory revisions, etc. for compliance standards.
Assists with ensuring compliance requirements are properly implemented by all stakeholders and impacted processes re-aligned as required.
Assign work prioritization and direction of requested work to team.
Communicates with business and technical teams and clients with purpose of gaining consensus or compromise on problems sometimes involving confidential or sensitive information while building and maintaining professional relationships.
Facilitate and ensure regular updated reporting is provided to management on the status of products, projects, work requests, and process improvements.

Responsible for continuously monitoring work processes to evaluate effectiveness and then working with the appropriate parties to make any necessary changes.
Assist in executing the setting strategic direction for the department in order to stay current with client business needs, industry trends, and new business opportunities.
Provide input on annual budget to include employment expense, client travel, and tools and resources needed to maintain high level of client service to Senior Management.
Complete performance review responsibilities, matching team member goals with department goals and establishing areas for needed growth.
Track Team Member growth and mastery of job responsibilities.
Create plans for Team Member development.


job Requirements


Education and Experience
Four year college degree in related field and six years or more of professional experience or eight or more years of professional experience is preferred. Knowledge, understanding, and experience in information technology, data security, cryptology, network architecture, compliance, risk management, and/or project management preferred.
Working Conditions
Ability to sit for 8-10 hours a day in front of a monitor. Ability to lift 30 lbs. as required. Additional work outside regularly scheduled/normal business hours may be required. Performs work at data centers requiring standing. Travel as required.
